Welcome pack for you delegates

For each conference delegate visiting The Sage Gateshead and staying overnight in the region, we will provide you with one FREE ‘Delegate Welcome Pack’ ready for inclusion in your conference bags or for you to send out to your delegates in advance. This will contain:

  • Pocket Guide to NewcastleGateshead providing details of the top attractions, restaurants, museums and bars, as well as maps and transport information
  • Voucher Booklet -containing a range of special offers and discounts from shops, restaurants and attractions in and around NewcastleGateshead
  • What’s On Guide -presenting an up-to-date listing of events and festivals throughout the region
  • Your Guide to North East England -a brief overview of England’s most tranquil region
  • Competition Card -providing the chance for each delegate to win £200
  • Postcard -featuring the world-famous Angel of the North

The Delegate Welcome Pack helps your delegates make the most of their visit to NewcastleGateshead, and provides a truly warm NewcastleGateshead welcome.

NewcastleGateshead Conference Travel Card

The NewcastleGateshead Conference Travel Card allows your delegates unlimited travel throughout the region, including Tyne & Wear’s extensive Metro light railway system and NewcastleGateshead’s frequent QuayLink buses which stop directly outside The Sage Gateshead.

If you’re organising a conference in NewcastleGateshead, you can purchase the Conference Travel Card in bulk then distribute to delegates in advance or on the day of your event.

The minimum number of cards you can order is 50, and you can specify how many days you would like the card to be valid for, depending on the length of your event.

NewcastleGateshead is compact, accessible and easy to get around, and the Conference Travel Card now makes it really great value. At a cost of just £2 per person, per day, you can enable delegates to travel as often as they like, taking full advantage of our excellent transport links and allowing them to make the most of their time in NewcastleGateshead.
