Mercury Music Prize nominee in 2008 and 2010, and BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominee for Best Original Song, part of the British ‘nu-folk’ scene, singer-songwriter Laura Marling was in the original line-up of Noah and the Whale before pursuing her solo career. In February 2011 she won the Best British Female Solo Artist prize at the Brit Awards and best solo artist at the NME awards, and her third album ‘A Creature I Don’t Know’, showcased here, follows the success of her sophomore record ‘I Speak Because I Can’.
