BBC Sunday Morning

This new series of four BBC Sunday Morning concerts featuring musicians from their New Generation artists scheme (the others are on 12th February, 6th May and 20th May) begins with tenor Ben Johnson.

Equally at home in opera recital and oratorio, Ben Johnson has worked with Sir Mark Elder and Esa-Pekka Salonen and made his BBC Proms debut in 2009 in Handel’s Samson. Ben recently recorded works by Poulenc, and this recital will include his song cycle ‘Tel jour telle nuit’.
